HP Pavilion 15t X7P44AV (7700HQ, FHD, GTX 1050) Laptop Review

Budget-friendly gaming. HP's Pavilion 15 features a no-frills design and comes in many different configurations. Equipped with a quad-core CPU and a dedicated GPU, the multimedia allrounder is more than adequate for casual gaming as well.

great CPU and GPU performance ; dual-storage: SSD + 2.5-inch HDD ; improved battery life ; slim 150 W power adapter ; non-glare FHD display ; good contrast

uninspiring, plasticy design ; right palm rest gets hot under load ; no USB Type-C port or Thunderbolt 3 ; input devices are just average ; dim display panel with poor colors ; difficult to service

The HP Pavilion 15t X7P44AV offers very decent performance at a reasonable price. The all-plastic chassis doesn't inspire a lot of confidence and might not appeal to users looking for an upscale (aluminum) design, but the hardware certainly packs a...

HP Pavilion 15t-eg300 Review: Satisfying Everyday Widescreen Laptop for Less

HP's midrange 15.6-inch widescreen laptop is a reliable choice for around the house and the occasional outing, but get it on sale and skip the base model's display.

Good performance for the price ; Attractive with a solid, sturdy feel ; Pleasing audio ; Several configuration options

Poor-quality base display ; Keyboard legends difficult to see

Nothing but trouble

This PC has been slow all along but now that it won't connect to the internet, it's worthless. Looks like lots of others are having the same problem and the long lists of supposed fixes have not worked.

Everyday is Enjoyable!!

I received this laptop as a Christmas gift. Longevity will give a fairer rating. The lower rating on features is clearly on a few Windows 10 features, not HP. I am a previous owner of the first HP 17' Pavillion Dual Core running Vista. My usage can...

Decent for the price

I like this laptop, especially for the price I paid for it at Costco ($499). Note that my laptop has the earlier generation of the Intel chip. It has done everything I need it to do so far. I don't have extreme needs: most of my work is checking email,...

With top video card will NOT run most video games

This product with the high end video card crashes every time my son tries to use StarCraft 2, GuildWars 2 and a variety of other games. Its brand new he got it for Christmas. Strongly recommend NOT buying.
