Review HP ProBook 450-H0V92EA Notebook

Casual business. HP considers its ProBook series to be quite affordable yet of high-quality. The business laptops that feature a straightforward configuration and decent battery runtimes are to find a place primarily in companies and on the desks of...

Windows 7 + Windows 8 Pro, Empty slot for one mSATA-SSD, HP has set up an interesting total package with its ProBook 450. Good runtime, enough performance alongside virtually silent operation. Perfect for the office

Only few security features, A better screen and a speed increasing SSD are at the top of our wish list. HP was a bit too saving when it came to the screen

at this price point, many other laptops are proffering more than Essential 450 laptop from HP, in terms of features and performance

Overall, entangled with stacks of connectivity and multimedia features, the new HP Essential 450 is an affordable yet intuitive device that ensures you a great computing experience!

Good value laptop

My mom got this for my younger brother for college. He hasn't complained, so I think he likes it

I would've preferred to have an ssd, but no big deal

HP 450 G1 (F2P37UT#ABA)

Satisfied with my purchase. Will upgrade RAM from 4GB to 8GB in the near future.

Sleek design. Win7 preinstalled with recovery disc. 4GB RAM is adequate for most use cases. Onboard graphics suitable for some games at lower settings. Built-in webcam and microphone work well. No issues with monitor

Off-center touchpad takes some getting used to. Mute button in upper right behaves strangely at times when using headphones, requiring a mute/unmute from the volume control menu before it will cooperate again. Driver problem

Overall Good

If you are looking for the product key to upgrade your laptop to an ssd, the product key is where you place the battery.

Came in 2 days. A reliable laptop for a first time laptop user and buyer. Quick and very nice looking. Screen is very nice, key board is spaced a little but not where it will frustrate you. Long battery life. comes with an OS disk and recovery disk

none as i can see

Excellent value

No regrets at all. This is my second HP ProBook laptop, and I am very pleased with this line.

Purchased for my college-bound son. Very pleased with the functionality, quality, and performance of this laptop. Very little/no bloatware to uninstall. Excellent battery life

Really, no major cons that I can think of

HP 450 G1 (F2P37UT#ABA)

After a couple of days of configuring, I noticed the screen turn permanently white when powered on. I tested the VGA out and it displayed normally to external monitor. Called HP and they were GREAT. They confirmed either the LCD or the cabling from LCD...

Very fast processor and graphics for office use ; Attractive and built tough ; Win7Pro with Win8 Pro license for future upgrade

First one had a display failure within a couple of days. Newegg replaced it and the replacement has been fine for about a month now ; No Win7 license sticker, so if a Win7 reinstall was ever needed, it would be problematic

HP ProBook 450 G1

Not a bad price for a working laptop.

Fast, not the usual bloatware HP is known for, good combination of options, well designed ; Hard to beat Windows 7, (8 is just SO ugly)

Video's not striking but then didn't expect it to be

HP Probook 450 G1

Great laptop for the price and it came with Win 7, and not Win 8, thankfully

Not *really* a CON, but a case would have been a nice added feature
