The latest Spectre x360 13 shows that HP can actually make a good trackpad

The Spectre x360 13 is tough competition for Dell's XPS 13 2-in-1.

More compact design than prior x360 models ; Finally, a good trackpad ; Windows Hello-compatible camera and fingerprint sensor ; Snappy performance, plus an integrated LTE option

Only average battery life ; It’s time for the 16:9 screen to die ; Annoying bloatware

The Spectre gives you the smallest footprint of all of them, plus both Thunderbolt 3 (which is not found on the Surface Laptop 3) and USB-A ports (which are lacking on the XPS 13 2-in-1), and it comes in at a lower price when similarly configured. The...

HP Spectre x360 13 (Late 2019)

Nifty design flourishes, strong performance and battery life, and a reasonable price make the latest HP Spectre x360 13 a first-class convertible laptop.

Compact footprint. Potent Intel "Ice Lake" CPU and Iris Plus graphics. Optional AMOLED screen. Well-positioned power button. Wi-Fi 6. Digital pen included. Long battery life.

Chassis is thicker than its predecessor's. Clumsy touchpad. Cumbersome USB port.

Bottom Line: Nifty design flourishes, strong performance and battery life, and a reasonable price make the latest HP Spectre x360 13 a first-class convertible laptop.

HP Spectre x360 (13-inch, OLED) review

The Spectre x360's slimmer bezels and 4K OLED display comes with a catch

Elegant design with small footprint ; Vivid 4K OLED display ; Strong performance ; Lightning-fast SSD ; Comfortable keyboard

Short battery life ; Awful webcam ; Ton of bloatware

The HP Spectre x360 sports a 4K OLED display, strong performance and a lightning-fast SSD packed into a svelte design, but the battery life takes a hit.

HP Spectre x360 13-aw0013dx Convertible Review: Powered by Intel Ice Lake

The latest HP Spectre is definitely smaller, faster, and more portable than ever before, but the unsteady CPU performance and noticeable ghosting will leave some casual gamers disappointed.

brighter display than last generation model;attractive narrow bezel design; lightweight;strong chassis quality and first impressions;quiet even when under medium loads;comfortable keyboard feedback;USB Type-A and Thunderbolt 3;fast MicroSD reader;long...

moderately slow black-white and gray-gray response times;inconsistent frame rates when gaming;upgrading M.2 storage can be difficult;display could be better calibrated;non-upgradeable RAM or WLAN;inconsistent CPU performance;no HDMI port

HP Spectre x360 13 (13-aw0000) review – the jewel in the 2-in-1 crown

Behold, the flagship of HP 13-inch 2-in-1 laptops – the Spectre x360 13. This is a big upgrade to the previous version, as it now features even slimmer top and bottom bezels, which ultimately…

Its keyboard is backlit and great for typing;Great performance output;Very high maximum brightness;Covers 91% of sRGB and has accurate colors, especially with our Health-Guard profile installed;Has two Thunderbolt 3 connectors;Supports PCIe x4 SSDs,...

Sure View doesn’t work as promised;Uses harmful PWM to adjust brightness at all levels (our Health-Guard profile fixes that);Prominent unevenness in the luminance across the screen; No RAM upgradability post-purchase
