HP ZBook Studio G3

The HP ZBook Studio G3 is a thin mobile workstation that has the power to keep digital artists, scientific maestros, or master builders happy. Plus, at less than 5 pounds, it won't weigh down your laptop bag like older power laptops.

Two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 support. 4K screen. ISV-certified hardware. Reasonably sized.

Display is a little dim and washes out in bright light. Unexceptional battery life. Non-swappable battery. Non-touch display. Some fan noise.

The HP ZBook Studio G3 is certainly a multimedia and mathematical powerhouse. Though it's thin and light, it is set to serve the digital photographer, video maestro, geek scientist, or master builder who needs phenomenal computing power to solve daily...

Ultrafast performance; Stylish design; Light for a workstation ; Relatively dim display; Bottom runs warm ; The HP ZBook Studio G3 is a phenomenal workstation with serious power and an eye-catching design that won't add heft to your bag.

HP ZBook Studio G3 Workstation Review

Too ambitious? The HP ZBook Studio G3 is the latest edition of the ZBook-series and follows the trend towards a slimmer device with powerful components. HP delivers a really good device in many aspects; however there are significant limitations in...

excellent case ; modern ports ; very good UHD-IPS display ; good input devices ; high performance, also under load

alarmingly high temperatures (surfaces and internally) ; loud and pulsating fans ; short battery runtimes ; no SmartCard reader ; no WWAN ; expensive

The ZBook Studio G3 is a small mystery to us. HP delivers a great product in some respects, while it disappoints in other categories. Sadly, overall, our impression of the ambitious workstation is negative. This is mainly a result of the emissions as...

HP ZBook Studio G3 Mobile Workstation Review

The HP ZBook Studio G3 Mobile Workstation is as handsome as it is prepared to do the work you're going to need it to do. Unlike workstation laptops of the past, this unit does not dispense with the thinness or the weight, either. This machine is an...

HP ZBook Studio G3 Mobile Workstation review: Power in a slimline package

HP's quad-core mobile workstation combines computing power with elegant looks, but don't expect it to last long on battery power.

Superb quad-core Xeon performance ; Stylish design ; Thin and light for a workstation-class laptop ; Good keyboard ; Plenty of ports and slots

Limited battery life ; Default screen brightness setting is too low

HP ZBook Studio review: an awesome mobile workstation

The latest HP ZBook Studio models continue targeting the high-end creative & scientific professional fields and they work beautifully.

Excellent performance ; Amazing Bang & Olufsen speaker system ; Privacy screen option ; Excellent keyboard ; Great trackpad ; Discreet Nvidia graphics processor

Excellent performance ; Amazing Bang & Olufsen speaker system ; Privacy screen option ; Excellent keyboard ; Great trackpad ; Discreet Nvidia graphics processor

As mentioned in the beginning, I’m a big fan of the HP Z series of high-end workstations. The HP ZBook X2 with a Wacom digitizer and DreamColor display was totally drool-worthy. The latest HP ZBook Studio models continue targeting the high-end creative...

HP ZBook Studio G3 review

Is it a workstation, an Ultrabook, or both?

Gorgeous finish ; Quadro GPU comes with 4GB memory ; Thunderbolt 3 ports

No DisplayPort ; No option for mechanical drives ; Battery is not removable, no higher capacity models ; Battery life is relatively poor

HP has delivered a beautiful product with the ZBook Studio. However, there have been some important concessions made due to aesthetic factors which may disappoint pragmatics who prefer substance over style.

Goondu review: HP ZBook Studio G3 September 20th, 2016 | by Alfred Siew PC 0 HP’s ZBook Studio G3 looks sleek but has the computing power that few off

The HP ZBook Studio G3 looks like a pretty ultrabook but is a large-screen workstation with the muscle to crunch numbers and render designs and drawings.

HP ZBook Studio G3 review: Meet the world's fastest laptop

If you hanker after more raw power but still want a genuine laptop rather than a hefty 'luggable', HP's new ZBook Studio G3 Mobile Workstation could be worth checking out.

The HP ZBook Studio G3 is a beast of a laptop, and has a price to match. Still, you're getting a hugely impressive machine that's Independent Software Vendors (ISV)-certified and ready for serious work – and serious performance.
