Lenovo IdeaPad 510-15IKB Notebook Review

Too expensive. Lenovo's 15.6-inch all-rounder scores with good equipment, a decent portion of computing power, and gaming suitability. The battery life can only be called mediocre. Furthermore, Lenovo demands an exorbitant price of 999 Euros (~$1058)...

matte IPS screen ; Full HD resolution ; SSD + HDD ; Low temperatures ; maintenance hatch

fan management ; no Type-C USB ; one memory bank only ; mediocre battery life ; slow WiFi module

Lenovo's 15.6-inch all-rounder has enough computing power for all common application fields. The installed GeForce graphics unit renders games smoothly. The laptop only heats up moderately even during load. A swift SSD ensures a fast-running system. A...

Lenovo IdeaPad 510-15ISK Notebook Review

A vision in white. Although the tester wouldn't want to marry the light and compact, 15-inch multimedia device by Lenovo, he doesn't have anything against a business relationship. The newcomer with a dedicated GeForce 940MX did not really show any...

light and slim ; classy casing with a lot of white coloring ; decent build ; TPM 2.0 ; two maintenance hatches ; good Turbo utilization ; quiet and cool

sluggish SD-card reader ; fan can only be accessed after disassembly ; very tight color space ; prominent PWM ; no SSD resulting in sometimes slow handling ; very slow HDD ; weak battery with short runtimes

The Lenovo IdeaPad 510-15ISK is an appealing device. Buyers get a well-built, relatively light and slim multimedia laptop with decent input devices, an IPS panel, and a dedicated GeForce 940MX for below 800 Euros (~$894). Although the price does not...

Lenovo Ideapad 510 review

An Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB of memory and a 1TB hard drive sounds like a recipe for success, but does the Lenovo Ideapad 510 laptop work well, or does it make a meal of even simple tasks? We put it through benchmarks, battery tests and more in our...

Very fast, slim and light, great screen, surprisingly good graphics card

The battery life (4 hours at best) is pretty woeful. The trackpad isn't great so I use a separate mouse

IdeaPad 510 15.6" (i3-6100U)

Great screen resolution (1920x1080), which is unusual for this price point. Bright, accurate colours. Backlit keyboard. Built-in Bluetooth. Slim, lightweight and stylish. Built-in DVD-rewriter, which is becoming increasingly rare these days, but a...

4GB RAM seems a wee bit skimpy these days in terms of future-proofing, but it hasn't proved to be an issue so far with Windows 10. HDD could be bigger, but I have an external drive to dump big files and USB 3.0 transfers are pretty quick. Really, there...

Nice looks, nice screen keyboard lights up. Nivida card. Screen nice and sharp.

Mechanical Hard drive slow I upgraded it with a SSD and now the laptop performs Brilliantly. Battery does not last as long as I would of preferred but not the worst. Lenovo stop using old style drives and move into the 21st Century and fit SSD drives...

they have moved the shift key on the rhs side of the keyboard to an unusal position so the keyboard is no standard, if you are used to typing it is a nightmare as it is different from every other keyboard, if i had known this i would not have bought it,
