Lenovo IdeaPad S205

The Lenovo Ideapad S205 is an 11-inch netbook that packs in enough oomph and features to serve as your primary laptop, but you'll have to contend with a small touchpad and mediocre battery life.

Good performance. Excellent display, keyboard. Plentiful storage space, RAM for a netbook. HDMI port onboard.

Small touchpad. Unimpressive battery life. Pricey configuration.

Review Lenovo IdeaPad S205 (Fusion) Subnotebook

Netbook plus. Atom is out - Fusion makes the better mobile companion. The smallest IdeaPad now also benefits from that what gave the APU subnotebooks from Toshiba, HP and Sony good portability and HD suitability.

Slim case, Pleasant stable keyboard, Quiet operation, The perfect HD player with an HDMI port for the TV. The inputs are suitable for prolific typists. Stable, slim case

Reflective 12.5 inch screen, Low office performance, Poor screen rates, Increased temperatures during load, Poor stereo speakers, The matt screen of an Edge 11 and the brightness of a Samsung 900X3A

Lenovo Ideapad S205 Review

To Lenovo, there is hope yet for the netbook form factor. Among its recent releases is the Lenovo Ideapad S205, a netbook in skin and size only. At heart, it's a notebook. Photos by Brian Chua.Specs: AMD Dual Core E-450 (1.65GHz, 1M L2 Cache, 1066MHz)...

Fits in almost any bag: you can bring this anywhere. Very light, despite the seeming bulky thickness ; Good keyboard, despite the size ; Suprisingly good sound, for a small thing ; Dedicated switch to turn off WiFi, to save on battery and shorten boot...

Small screen, you may have to bump up the fonts or the resolution. But that might limit the number of rows and colums you’ll see on a spreadsheet, or prevent a whole-page view on a document from being useful ; Keyboard not backlit, so either you get a...

Lenovo IdeaPad S205 reviewed- overall solid 11.6 notebook

The 11.6 inch standard is one of those form factors that blur the boundaries between netbook and notebook and many users go for this standard because the respective machines usually pack much better hardware th...

The S205 is a decent entry for the mainstream notebook market, as it packs AMD’s latest Fusion CPU and had HD graphics. The build, although from plastic, is pretty good and the keyboard feels much better than the ones on more expensive machines. But...

Lenovo IdeaPad S205-1038 review

If you're after something that's easy to carry around but has enough power to deal with tasks beyond the everyday then the Lenovo IdeaPad S205-1038 is well worth considering. The cost of £340 certainly makes it very attractive, but there's more to the...

Bridging the gap between netbook and laptop, the Lenovo IdeaPad S205-1038 comes in at a very competitive price even if it does lack the raw power of some of the competition. If you’re after something highly portable but need to do more than send a few...

Lenovo IdeaPad S205 review

If you sometimes have difficulty sorting out Lenovo's ultraportable and netbook options, that's not surprising. Take the Lenovo IdeaPad S205: it has an 11.6-inch, 1366-by-768-resolution LED-backlit display and integrated webcam, configured with the AMD...

But you can uninstall the unnecessary apps, and overall, the Lenovo IdeaPad S205 shapes up as a very appealing, somewhat consumer-oriented netbook. While it may be a tad pricey for a netbook (depending on where you buy), its superb design features and...

Lenovo IdeaPad S205 Review, Price in India, Technical Specification

IdeaPad S205 is a new notebook from the house of Lenovo. This device is good in terms of performance and sports an attractive display.
