Lenovo ThinkPad P1

Lenovo eclipses its other thin-and-light workstation, the ThinkPad P52s, with the ThinkPad P1—a fast, fully loaded sibling of the ThinkPad X1 Extreme that delivers serious power for ISV apps in a chassis pared down to 4.06 pounds.

Workstation power in a lean chassis. Stunning screen and fabulous keyboard. Strong six-core performance. Two USB Type-A ports and an HDMI out, as well as two Thunderbolt 3 ports.

Only fair battery life. Expensive.

Bottom Line: Lenovo blows away its other thin-and-light workstation, the ThinkPad P52s, with the ThinkPad P1—a fast, fully loaded sibling of the X1 Extreme that delivers serious power for ISV apps in a chassis pared down to 4.06 pounds.

Lenovo ThinkPad P1 review: Workstation power in a portable package Review | ZDNet

The 15.6-inch ThinkPad P1 is thin and light for a workstation-class laptop, and has plenty of options to maximise performance, at a price. Battery life is a concern though.

Powerful processor options ; Great screen ; Good connectivity

Average battery life ; Relatively bulky and heavy ; Average speakers ; Expensive with top-end options
