MSI P65 Creator

In the speedy, stylish P65 Creator, MSI reskins its GS65 Stealth Thin gaming laptop to appeal to 2D and 3D designers and animators—an audience that would appreciate a greater-than-1080p screen and a roomier SSD.

Solid six-core performance. Handsome design and 144Hz display. Work-minded, but also quite suitable for gaming.

No high-res (beyond 1080p) screen or Core i9 option. SSD needlessly divided into small partitions. Mediocre battery life.

Bottom Line: In the speedy, stylish P65 Creator, MSI reskins its GS65 Stealth Thin gaming laptop to appeal to 2D and 3D designers and animators—an audience that would appreciate a greater-than-1080p screen and a roomier SSD.

Weve seen quite a few good Windows-based alternatives to the Apple MacBook Pro in the form of Dell XPS 15 and the Microsoft Surface 2. But, now a Taiwan-based company MSI is bursting on to the scene of creative laptops with its latest MSI P65 Creator 8RD.

Overall, the MSI P65 8RD is a well-rounded creative laptop that also doubles as a gaming machine. You get the good aspects of both the worlds, if not the best. It has a brilliant screen, smooth performance, and lightweight body.
