The Razer Book 13 does almost everything right, with a unique aesthetic and well-rounded port selection.

Razer Book 13 review: stop gaming, and get to work

A costly but cunning ultraportable.

Vibrant 16:10 display ; Attractive Blade-esque design ; Powerful performance ; Per-key RGB keyboard

Just 256GB of storage in base and midrange models ; Premium price ; Clunkier than some competitors ; Battery life is just okay

Razer, best known for its Blade gaming laptops, has made its first foray into the productivity space. We tested the Razer Book 13, powered by Intel’s Core i7-1165G7, Iris Xe integrated graphics, and 16GB of RAM. All in all, it’s a great laptop — but it...

Razer Book 13 Review

Snappy performance with Intel "Tiger Lake" CPU ; Long battery life ; Slick metal design in a super-small body ; Attractive 16:10 edge-to-edge display ; Comfortable keyboard with per-key RGB lighting ; Superior touchpad ; Full complement of ports

Only 256GB of storage in base and midrange models ; Feels a tad heftier than its lightest competitors

The only non-gaming laptop in Razer's lineup, the Razer Book 13 is a sleek and compact machine that reaches the very top tier of ultraportables in terms of design, performance, and features.

Razer Book 13 review: A slick laptop with a disappointing keyboard

We don't mind the Razer Book 13's higher price given its slick design and lack of bloatware, not to mention the solid overall performance. But the keyboard is surprisingly subpar, making it a harder sell.

Sharp aluminum design with cool, quiet operation ; 16:10 display with excellent viewing angles ; Smooth, generously sized trackpad

Mushy, low-travel keyboard that constantly misses keystrokes ; Storage is limited to 256GB for non-4K models ; No fingerprint reader

The Razer Book 13’s performance is about what you’d expect for a laptop with an Intel Core i7-11G5G7 processor and 16GB of RAM. It’s plenty fast for everyday productivity tasks and gets decent battery life, and you can get away with some light 3D...

Razer Book 13 review

Razer goes full productivity with great results

Powerful overall and graphics performance ; Plenty of ports ; Bright, vivid display ; Comfortable, customizable keyboard

Runs a bit warm ; Sluggish file transfer

Armed with Intel’s powerful Tiger Lake CPU and GPU, the Razer Book 13 makes a compelling case to productivity users.

Review: Razer Book 13 is a remarkable achievement in design and features

Razer breaks out from its gaming roots with Book 13, a premium 13-inch Ultrabook that is fast, good looking, and has all the right features. While you pay handsomely for the experience, this is also one of the best laptops ever made.

Gorgeous, pristine design ; 11th Gen Intel and EVO certified hardware flies ; Brilliant IGZO display ; Excellent typing, trackpad, and RGB keyboard ; Fantastic speakers with THX Spatial Audio ; Plenty of ports

Expensive ; No LTE

From $1,200 at Razer Bottom line : The Razer Book 13 is a tremendous first-gen Ultrabook that arguably takes on the category winner Dell XPS 13 (9310). Featuring a 16:10 display, fantastic speakers, a great keyboard and trackpad, and a premium...

Razer Book 13 review: So close to greatness

The Book 13 is one of the few products from Razer not geared directly at gamers. This Razer Book 13 review will tell you how it stacks up!

Great build and design ; Display is bright and crisp ; Long battery life ; Powerful processor ; RGB keys are a fun addition

Keyboard is really bad ; Webcam should be better ; Expensive

The Razer Book 13 is a great productivity machine with one major flaw: its keyboard. Unfortunately, the keyboard is weak enough that it knocks this machine's review score down significantly. However, if you can accept that flaw, this is still a...

Review: Razer Book 13 | Razer Dressing Up For Business Razer Book 13

With a well-made little "MacBook killer", Razer shows that they can do more than just gaming PCs.

Ultra cool little PC with a clear and colourful touch screen. Massively stable aluminum chaissis.

Beauty has its price. You can find more powerful ultrabooks for less money.

Razer Book 13 is a great debut in the office market for gaming specialist Razer. If you need a strong and presentable computer that can handle a whole day of meetings and work and has enough power for the heavier programs, it is a relevant candidate.

Razer Book 13 review

The Razer Book 13 combines solid speed with a comfortable and colorful keyboard to compete with the best laptops around.

Fast overall performance ; Colorful display ; Solid endurance ; Per key RGB lighting ; Lots of ports

Gets pricey ; Runs a little warm

At the end of the day, though, the Razer Book 13 will be worth it to everyone who's wanted custom RGB lighting on a productivity laptop, as nobody else in town is offering that option. I'm not going to stand between you and the light(s) of your life.
