Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 (LTE)

An intriguing option among premium Chrome OS convertibles, the Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 (LTE) offers unique features like a built-in stylus and two cameras.

Handy integrated stylus storage. USB Type-C and Type-A ports. Two webcams. Full HD touch screen. Built-in LTE modem.

So-so battery life. Heavy. Uncomfortable keyboard and touchpad.

Bottom Line: An intriguing option among premium Chrome OS convertibles, the Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 (LTE) offers unique features like a built-in stylus and two cameras.

Samsung Chromebook Plus V2: A better Chrome experience for $500

The premium 2-in-1 is a more affordable way to show off what you can do with Chrome and Android in a single device.

The Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 adds a handy secondary camera and a more powerful processor than its predecessor adding more value to this premium Chromebook. The two-in-one design and built-in pen also make it more useful than your average low-end...

Though not overpriced for what you're getting, the $500 price is high for a Chromebook, there's no HDMI output (you'll need a USB-C dongle) and the keyboard is not backlit.

Samsung's Chromebook Plus V2 might be pricier than your average Chromebook, but the design and improved performance over the last-gen model let you do more with Chrome OS and Android than lower-end options.
