Sony Vaio VPC-F215FX/BI review: Sony Vaio VPC-F215FX/BI

Sony Vaio VPC-F215FX/BI

The stylish ; adds stereoscopic 3D and backs it up with powerful components.

This is significantly heavier than other 16-inch laptops, and at nearly $2,000, it's very expensive. The battery life is disappointing.

Sony makes some of the best-looking multimedia laptops out there, and the 3D Vaio F215FX is no exception. But you'll have to be willing to pay extra for that sharp design.

Sony VAIO F-Series (VPCF215FX)

If you look at most of Sony's VAIO laptop lines, it's easy to be impressed with the company's design chops. For instance, who wouldn't like the S-series, with its very thin, elegant design?

Good audio, if you enable Dolby enhancements ; Beautiful display with excellent 3D support

Overall unit is quite unattractive ; Pioneer Blu-ray drive is very noisy

Sony includes Nvidia’s 3D Vision with its latest 16-inch laptop, but it's more attuned to stereoscopic movies than to games.

this is too heavy for using laying back on the sofa. You have to use it at the table.
