Be careful of Sony

 

A very good computer while it works

The power connector failed after 15 months. I paid $250 for Sony to repair it, and it failed again in the same manner after 9 months. Sony will not stand behind the repair, although it's known to be a frequent failure for them

Great screen and graphics. Fast response. Wonderful laptop but the HDD failed completely in March 2013

The Toshiba HDD failed in March 2013, and could not be recovered, even using the recovery partition. It has been necessary to install a new HDD.

After a car accident its now banana-shaped and doesn't work any more. I tried but the screen is a kaleidoscope now :(
