VAIO FE570G Notebook

This stylish Media Center Edition notebook has tons of storage space, but it's a sluggish performer.

Elegant design, Good battery life

A tad sluggish

But if you crave a light, chic-looking notebook with a big screen and tons of storage, the VGN-FE570G should go to the top of your short list. It's a real looker, with class

Sony VGN-FE570G Laptop

The lightweight Sony FE570G is beautifully crafted and comes with a huge hard drive. Unfortunately, it's a tad slow compared to similarly configured notebooks.

Overall- Good (above average) the speed is very good, and the weight is exceptional considering its power. Batteries differ from computer to computer, I found mine to last a little over 2 hours. Would recommend to a friend.

Very Fast. Light weight. Average battery power. Beautiful picture. Includes great virus protection software. Remarkable System Recovery Program

Definatly more pro's than cons, however the cons do bother me. On the occasion progams wont open. And after many windows updates, sometimes the computer will not shut down. I would have to either put it in standby until I can find a way to fix it, or...

Great Buy

Overall this notebook is a great buy. It has plenty of functionality and is an excellent deal in my opinion. As stated before there are some aspects that could be improved but what this notebook has greatly out weighs what it doesn't have. Sony makes...

Very well designed notebook, as expected from Sony. The display is absolutely beautiful. The Dual Core processor is great, even at 1.66 ghz. It's more than enough power to open several apps and have high productivity. The 1 gig of ram and 100 gig hard...

The battery life is a disappointment, there is really only 3 hours or so but that's to be expected with such a brilliant display, but this can be partially solved by lowering the brightness of the monitor. Unfortunately the audio quality of is not...

Startup is very slow. Vaio animated logo (even when animation is disabled) seems to stick on the page for about 30 - 60 seconds before booting into the OS
