Playing games generates a lot of heat and I wonder if this will have a detrimental affect on product life! Windows 8 was a pain to install all drivers.

Nice Layout and easy to use

Going from Windows 7 to 8 not easy for user as 8 really for touch screen use ,but patience overcomes this eventually.

customer service non existent and difficult to follow help guides, and was not sold what I needed.

Clean neat design useful shortcut keys.

Irritating menu at top of screen at start-up which has to be 'killed' to stop it continually popping up!

Overall this laptop is great value for money, if the battery was better I would give it an overall 9

The battery is the only bad point of this laptop because of this I would give it an overall 7

Built in microfon, camera, slots for SD and Pro Duo cards, better speakers, good resolution, fast buttons (WEB, VAIO, ASSIST), lighting keyboard, HDD prevention, included Windows 7.

The touchpad is not really working. For example the sensitivity is awful and I can not use both buttons of the touchpad. The last one is a real problem especially for gamers. It could be a good if I would connect a mouse to the laptop without any...

As gaming laptop, its performance overall is fantastic, also its design improved the overall value. it is worth every penny spent on hime

the battery life ruins the overall rating because it is a LAPTOP, which people dont want to carry the charger and drag a wire when they are moving around

Very well built and designed, great illuminated keyboard.

Design - simple, yet attractive. Good connections. Easy to upgrade. Keyboard has excellent feel. Very light for a machine of its size.

Internally facing case is flimsy and ill fitting. Touchpad irritating, sometimes ignores actions. The Sony Dock interface is clunky unless you have a really quick hard drive. Support website not as slick as Dell, HP etc.
