overpriced

 

This is a nice computer but you can get the same level computer from other brands and save a few hundred dollars. I bought a ASUS P8600 (2.4Ghz) 4GB DDR2 800 320GB NVIDIA Geforce 9650GT for $999

solid spec computer. very fast and capable of anything you throw at it

1 VAIO to rule them all

 

If you wanna use it as a BR player with your 1080 tele you need a nice HDMI cord. Also, you have to change the settings on the screen or else the puter recognizes both tele and puter an will not play the BR movie ....also need and external keyboard to...

Excellent out of the box ...plug it in, registered, immediately picked up my internet with wireless and off I went. 18' screen is very nice. Comes with a nice package of software already installed great for video, BR drive is awesome

None so far with the puter ; It comes with Vista, but can upgrade to Win7, however I sent an email as instructed but still have not received my software, not sure what is taking so long, but I'm about to mail it snail mail

overall its a nice laptop and newegg.com is the place to buy it

this is a fast notebook and cool looking, you cant get a better price in any other website

in sony.com this model (vgnaw335j/h) it says its full hd but its not. that is why i gave it just 2 stars. so if your looking for a hd display notebook check the spec here at new egg and not the sony.com as i did

do get the extra warranty, cause my first one had a bad pix. called newegg and they were very helpful with me. got my new one and like i said it works great . thanks newegg.

very fast laptop, great screen, and works very good. connects to wifi fast and without any trouble. cant say anymore but love it

Display resolution doesn't match any real media standard but it isn't really noticeable, no built in TV tuner which should be standard on these widescreen notebooks IMO, and ExpressCard 34 instead of 54 which eliminates all of the best ExpressCard tv...
