Hopefully their newer model still have similar quality to its old model and that Sony is not following Toyota's path.

Delivery and price is pretty reasonable. I had pretty good experience with Sony in the past 3+ years laptop without any maintenance etc on it

I got this for father's day and right now I cannot configure wireless to the laptop. For some reason, wireless works at my sister's house but not at my house where I have a domain server. Though that is the case, all of my other laptops can connect to...

Fit for the Average User

I think some people have been mislead by one of the reviewers. He gave this product one egg and bashed it for having intel integrated graphics. 1. Integrated graphics are fine for the average user. It plays videos smoothly and you can still play...

I got this on sale for $600. I bought this as a gift for my mom for Mothersday. Since my mom isn't too tech savy (as most moms arn't), she was happy to have a brand name product like Sony Vaio. If this laptop wasn't on sale and a similar laptop with...

Almost every computer you buy will come with bloatware. It would be silly to knock off an egg for that ; The one thing that irks me is that the touchpad is left of the center instead of dead-center (You can see it in the pictures). But thats more of a...

Great Laptop - Easy Setup

This is my 2nd Vaio laptop. Windows 7 is so much easier to setup than Vista. The new keyboard layout is better than before and the keypad is a nice addtion. The speed and memory are great, especially for the price. Faster Startup time and very quit...

For the price - none. Would have preferred a 7200 rpm harddrive, but this one is still fast

Solid notebook

You talk so much about programming, but you cant talk about hacking because you cant actually do anything. I run a hacked network of computers that I programmed to click on googles ads in my secret website. I even write my own viruses to make people...

Do not pay attention to the reviewer bashing the Intel graphics. I am able to run HL2/Portal/Source engine games maxed out on a 1440x900 external display on the integrated card. I can do medium settings on most recent games

Don't understand why all the laptop vendors rely so much on Intel graphics. They musy be dirt cheap for them to buy. Most people now days depend on the laptop for their main computer needs, including gaming, so why put Intel graphics in them when they...

Has some very good specs and features along with vaio dependability. And the price isn't bad

Till you get down to the integrated graphics and you can see why it is so cheap. Way too much money for an internet browsing, card playing, minesweeper playing machine. You can do the same thing with the bottom of the line Compac or HP machine

its nice for $700

overall happy with purchase for $699. mainly purchased over other similar price point laptops because of sony brandname & expected quality & ergonomics. not dissapointed to date.

keyboard with keypad. sony quality. thin & light. adequate webcam. touchpad buttons require just the right amount of very light pressure to press. easy setup onto home network

screen seems plenty wide but not quite tall enough. speed of core i3 not as fast as expected
