Toshiba Satellite R630-141 review

A stunningly high-powered and portable laptop, ideal for life on the move

Incredible battery life ; build quality ; isolation-style keyboard ; superb processor ; DVD-RW

Not the best graphics abilities ; no office software

The Satellite R630-141 is one of the best ultra-portables you can buy. Offering stunning power and mobility at a fairly low price, we would be more than happy to have one in our bag next time we hit the road.

With i5 it has lots of power for a small light machine. Nice screen. I like the shallow chiclet keyboard but not sure everyone would!

Personally not keen on the square black design with shiny silver trim - there are much chicer ultralights.

It looks good, feels robust, works well, and offers a good balance between 'desktop' and 'portability'.

The amount of rubbish software that is on this laptop would be enough to make someone send it back. It is completely unnecessary, everyone hates it across the board and yet companies still do it, knowing it has a detrimental affect on their sales...

Toshiba Satellite R630-155

Although it was a rather expensive way to replace an almost useless Netbook I am overall delighted with it and now regret my recent purchase of a 15.4" heavier Laptop.
