Compared to my 800mm Sigma the quality is absolutely appalling but that weighs and costs about twenty times as much so maybe unfair to compare. I've not had much luck hand-holding it but on a tripod with time to focus accurately the quality is usable...

I read the reviews but figured it couldn't be all that bad and I was right it did work... It popped when it was supposed to and everything seemed to work. The problem I had was the hotshot area is not flat so when you are tightening things down it is...

The segment of ultra-wide, fast zoom lenses designed for full frame is very differentiated. In fact it seems every producer follows their own path, or even several paths at the same time. In the case of Canon it all started in 1989 with the EF 20–35 mm...

" I am with the reviewer who said this lens gets a bad rap. I've been shooting pictures since the state of the art was the "match needle" TTL metering. I still have all those lenses and have tried shooting pictures with an adapter on a G6. And I have...

Firstly to provide some context to this review, I reviewed this lens alongside the Samyang 35mm lens using a Canon 5D which has a full-frame sensor (and therefore no CCD cropping). As a child when I first got to play with cameras, I had a 50mm and 35mm...
After some research I found that these redhancer filters can help to cut orange skyglow from sodium streetlights. It's a similar filter as those used as eye protection by glass workers. I've used it several times and found that it works fairly well....

does not fit on my 18mm-55mm lens that was the stock lens for my Rebel T3i that I often use.
NOT OF A PARTICULAR HIGH QUALITY. BUT. DOES THE JOB REASONABLY WELL. TAKES A BIT OF TIME TO MASTER IT BUT AS I HAVE ALREADY SAID, NOT HIGH TECH.
Excellent, and inexpensive, variable range filter. Really easy to use without having to carry lots of kit around. Great value.
Compatibility chart on Sony's website says VCL-HG1737C telephoto lens is compatible with HDR-CX430V camcorder, bought the lens and it is not. Camera mount is 45.5mm and lens mount is 36mm. Total waste of time. Stars reflect dissatisfaction with...
I'm still am trying to figure it all out but so far I love it, I would recommend it to any one who would want to buy it. It is a welcome addition to my lens.
This is supposed to fit the Nikon SB80 DX flash, among others, but it doesn't. It fits so tightly that after a moment it pops right back off (unless they shipped me the wrong diffusers - but the package it came in did specify the SB80 DX).
I was disappointed as One I thought it was auto focus. Two it was a quad but no again. It seems to be cheaply made it rattles but it does work.
A Previous reviewer stated: '..but the set of extra clear lens covers were terrible... they looked like somebody had sandpapered them." Turns out they have a clear protective film on both sides of the lenses that make them appear cloudy. You just need...
Not worth the money. Sure it's made by Sony, but never did I think there will be a product from this reputable company that would disappointment me. This item is even listed on accessories compatible with my camcorder (HDR-CX550V). Quick release...
When I ordered these items I specified the camera - Canon Powershot G10. On receipt I am totally unable to fit the items - for example the lens hood is a screw fitting but there is no corresponding thread on the camera! I have therefore learned a...
The means of connecting this lens to the camera is crap. You have to attach an adhesize metal ring over the lens specs. The lens attaches by magnetism to this ring so there is nothing to keep it exactly in place so it slides around making you have to...
When the product was received it was filthy and had minute scratches that altered my photos. Very unhappy
I purchased this for my Sony HDR-HC1 HD Camcorder. This lens is actually made of two lenses. The first one attaches to the camera for Macro and the second lens work with (attaches to) the first lens to provide the wide angle function. Construction...
go to the E close to the Bay and look up the cactus....those r a lot better. speedotron is just trying to imitate it here.
I had originally wanted a canon brand wide angle lens, but found the zice at a much cheaper price. It fit on my camera and I instantly realized the difference. The lens is great and adds so much quality to my photos overall. The construction of the...
This lens does not fit on my Panasonic SDR-H200. The threading might be the right size, but part of the camera lens prevents this wide-angle lens from going on. I contacted Blue Nook to see if I was doing something wrong, and was shocked to hear that...
I was very excited when I ordered this product and Adorama is very known in the industrty but I was very disapointed when I opened the box and found out that the chroma key background was not only riped but decolored and had foot steps stains all over...
The E-510 outfit includes a compact, Zuiko Digital ED 14 - 42 mm f3.5 - f5.6 Lens (equivalent to 28mm - 84mm in 35mm photography) that perfectly matches the imager so light strikes the sensor directly to ensure rich, accurate colors and edge-to-edge...

Lets start by saying this lens comes with a number or adapter rings to mount on a long list of camera models that it purports to support. this product was NOT designed for the S9000 I bought it for, and identical issues have been confirmed with another...
