Lovely lens, great versatility

A lovely piece of kit. This lens has quality written all over it. Images are top even at wide apeture. Zoom is smooth and the apeture ring has a very satisfying click action. The readout in the view finder makes using this lens in manual mode a breeze....

Nothing really. Some might find the lens a tad heavy but that's all.

This is an outstanding lens like the rest of the XF range, I now own four and all are stellar performers. Highly recommended.

Dust under the front element, only a very tiny amount, was going to return it for exchange till I saw the results from it and was blown away. Decided to keep it as the replacement might not have been as good. Something to consider when buying in future.

Upgraded from XC 50-230 and the image quality is much improved, together with metal mount, better IS, faster lens and the aperture ring it has been worth the upgrade.

A first rate lens for the price. I would recommend it. Build quality great like all Fujifilm products.

Very, very slight loss of definition at around the max zoom position around the edge of the lens but really no problem.
