Acer H257HU

The Acer H257HU is a reasonably priced 25-inch Wide-Quad-High-Definition (WQHD) monitor that delivers accurate color and gray-scale performance, stylish lines, and better-than-average audio output.

Stylish design. High-resolution panel. Wide viewing angles. Solid performance. Good audio output.

No USB ports. Tilt-only stand.

Conclusion If you're looking to move up to a WQHD display, but have limited finances, the Acer H257HU is an excellent choice. It offers solid color accuracy and gray-scale performance, pleasing aesthetics, and lots of picture settings, and its list...

i was hesitating between this one and dell's U2515h. and i picked this one for lower response time for my dota2 game. i know people are saying that this one don't have the vesa mount like dell's one. but i do like its simple mount that really didnt...

This monitor rocks!

I was looking to replace my older monitors that were limited to 1080p and were a bit chunky. I found these and they really are great. They are much brighter than my previous monitors and have really sharp colors for on my Mac Pro. They are not the...

The only cons are that it does not move up and down, only flex in and out. When the computer turns off the monitors the blue light for the only button flashes.

Acer gets it right...wow!

25" monitor replaced a 22" monitor. The 2K color and clarity jumps right out. Bought to of them and have only good things to say about them. Would recommend this monitor to others.

None.

Acer 2K monitor

If the subject of monitors came up, I would recommend this monitor, hands down. Just get this if you are looking for a high-quality monitor at an affordable price.

I bought this monitor in order to enjoy the graphical bliss that the pair of GTX 970s I purchased could show off. It has lived up to the hype. The display is brilliant, and the framerate has hardly went down, from a resolution of 1680x1050, to...

None that I can think of. Acer's engineering dept. did an excellent job of designing this monitor!

Excellent for My Use

I use this mostly for programming and on-line work. I cannot comment on its suitability for gaming or professional graphics. It will probably not please everybody.

Beautiful picture quality. No dead pixels on my unit. It was touted for low eyestrain in some computer magazines - helpful for my photophobia. The screen fits nicely on my puny desk. Metal stand looks nice (but uses a little too much room). Excellent...

Poor audio: low volume and poor quality. No mount holes. Poor scaling of fonts and graphics in Win XP. Still a bit pricey. Some un-sizeable text is too small for me to see without glasses. Control buttons are a bit flimsy and glitchy. Wobbles a little...

Solid monitor

I purchased a pair of these monitors to replace my very old pair of Dell 2001FP (1600x1200@60Hz) that I had owned for ~13 years. These are ~19 inches and I wanted something of a similar size vertically. The Acer H257CU seemed to have the right...

Part of Acer's new line of "Zero Frame" monitors, this 25" monitor has solid construction with a light weight, very thin frame that runs at a max resolution of 2560x1440@60Hz. It's difficult to find resolutions higher than 1080 on monitors smaller than...

Nothing is perfect. This monitor's major disappointment is it's lack of physical adjustment. The stand that is used only puts the monitor approximately 5 - 6 inches off of my desk, which is way too low for me and aside from being able to adjust the...
