Acer K272HUL

The Acer K272HUL is a modestly priced 27-inch, In-Plane Switching (IPS) monitor that delivers accurate colors, generally good gray-scale performance, and a 2,560-by-1,440-resolution image.

Reasonably priced. Solid performance. High-resolution panel.

Tilt-only stand. Weak speakers. Plain design.

Conclusion The Acer K272HUL is a great fit for users who want the pixel density of a 27-inch WQHD panel without having to trade up to a more expensive, professional-grade monitor like the BenQ BL2710PT or the Viewsonic VP2770-LED. You don't get many...

Acer K272HUL 27" WQHD LED Display Preview

Preview: The 27" Acer K272HUL has a better than 1080p WQHD resolution, 16:9 aspect, two HDMI inputs, and integrated speakers making it perfect for spreadsheets, games, or movies.

We like seeing displays that can be used in your bedroom or your office. The 27" Acer K272HUL has a better-than-1080p WQHD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, two HDMI inputs, and integrated speakers. While its intended use is certainly at a desk, the...

I am glad I bought this monitor.

If you think about it, you "use" your monitor more than any other PC component, so don't go cheap. Even if you don't buy this one, get a good one from a respectable brand and spend more if you need to. I have a pretty beefy graphics card, and now that...

Excellent picture, viewing angles, sharpness, and color reproduction. I am not a graphics pro but it sure looks good Plenty of inputs Speakers don't sound terrible. I use external speakers but these would do in a pinch

No height adjustment although it does have tilt.

Received the wrong one

I have three of these monitors and needed two more. Newegg delivered on-time but only one was the correct item. I started a return process and placed the item in the box that matched the item description. New rejected my return because the serial...

If I get the correct product, I can give a pro

The monitor may or not actually be what you ordered

Great monitor for the price

Lots of real estate. Fast response time. Great for games and productivity.

Issues setting with linux/nvidia. I ended up getting it to work but it wasn't simple. Well worth the trouble. You could probably use an old monitor first to get xwindows and nvidia configured but I had given mine away already

Great for the price

- Good size-to-resolution ratio (no need to enable text scaling like you would for a 27" 4K monitor) - Excellent brightness, decent blacks - No dead/stuck pixels after 5 months

- Cheap stand - DisplayPort connectors are very tight (need to use more force than expected) - Bright blue power LEDs might be distracting for some people

Nothing amazing to see here, except the display

Absolutely incredible 2K display for less -- if you don't mind the thick bezel and the wobble this is a great buy.

- Gorgeous IPS panel - Significantly lower price than other 27" 2K IPS monitors - Unobtrusive styling

- Way too bright out of the box, not uncommon for monitors - Thick glossy black bezel, feels kind of cheap - Wobble wobble wobble, even a slight move has the monitor flopping all over the place

Great price, but NOT worth it

The price was good and the screen does 1920x1080 really nicely.

The monitor is supposed to be capable of 2560x1440 but that resolution is only supported on the DVI-D dual link port. The HDMI and display ports do NOT support that resolution! Also, after having acquired a dual link cable and minidp to dual link dvi...

Awesome monitor for the price

This monitor is crazy bright, almost too bright at full. Image is stunning at native 1440p, really good bang for the buck.

- super bright - nice color repro and contrast - good variety of inputs - big - no dead pixels :)

- need powerful hardware in order to run, but obviously not the monitors fault :( - Limited position adjustment

Perfect Fit for a Mac

For owning it a week and considering it's price point, I'm completely satisfied. After using this with my Mac, there is no way I could justify paying 4x more for Apple's version. I have mine mounted on the wall and it looks terrific. At first I thought...

Low price 2560x1440@60Hz Resolution DisplayPort + DVI + HDMI Clean design

Viewing angle could be better UI leaves something to be desired Contrast could be better for low-light applications (dramatic movies, etc)
