BenQ GW2765

BenQ's latest monitor is designed to be a jack-of-all-trades unit able to cope with work and entertainment with equal aplomb. The 27in screen, IPS panel and 2,560 x 1,440 resolution all prove attractive, but its £294 price could seem steep.

Good contrast and colour accuracy ; Consistent screen quality ; Versatile stand design

No USB ports ; Specialised screens excel elsewhere ; Pricier than rivals

BenQ GW2765HT Quad HD 27-inch Monitor Review

If you were to say to someone 10 years ago that you were thinking of getting a 27-inch monitor for your PC, they'd class you as insane. However, nowadays bigger monitors are becoming the norm, and the quality is increasing by the day. The GW2765HT from...

BenQ GW2765HT 27-inch Quad HD monitor review

The BenQ 27-inch GW2765HT Quad HD monitor is one of the largest from the veteran display maker, and it's one of its latest too. It packs in a hefty Quad HD (2560 x 1440) resolution, which is sure to put some extra stress on your PC's hardware to drive...

The BenQ GW2765HT is the company's latest addition to its range of IPS displays, packing in a huge Quad HD resolution that'll make your full HD screen look paltry in comparison. It absolutely shines, with brilliant colour reproduction and vibrant tones...

For the price, there's not a whole lot to knock the GW2765HT for. Sure, the bezels are made up of a glossy black plastic and don't look that great, but you're going to be focused on the screen anyway. We weren't too fond of navigating the on-screen...

BenQ has crafted a brilliant Quad HD display that looks gorgeous, has tip-top build quality (although cheapish looking bezels) and costs less than £300 - it's practically a steal for a hefty 27-inch monitor, and you get plenty of resolution too. Unless...

Big, bright, and sharp!

I'd recommend this to others; in fact I offered to get one for my wife.

I'm very pleased with this monitor. It's wide enough to put two page-size windows side by side, making it easy to copy and paste text from one to another, and it seems to really bring my photos to life. It was a snap to set up, and the screen height...

Speakers are junk, (though it does have a headphone jack that drives a stereo quite nicely).

Very sharp with excellent colour

Step 1 of course, is checking the issue through Google (or Duck Duck Go if you don't want Google knowing your 'issues'.) I found my fix on reddit and this appears to be a long standing issue. 20 pin DP cables carry a pin for power while 19 pin cables...

Fairly priced 2k monitor. I have it side by side to a NEC Multisynch PA271W and find I prefer it to the NEC for viewing images. It's half the weight and 1/3 the price. I have owned it for almost 5 months.

I have it plugged (DP) into an EVGA Geforce GTX970 4GB GDDR5 card. After a recent driver upgrade from Nvidia, the monitor reported 'No Signal' error on boot then turned black. Rolling back the driver didn't fix the problem. Although the monitor comes...

Nice colors, IPS. WOW.

I would buy it again, especially if it had higher refresh rates.

Everything. Except for the minimal shipping material, and the tiny pieces getting stuck between the LCD and frame. This monitor was rated the best out of a bunch, by Maximum PC. Even 4K LCD's. They rated it #1, and I guess I agree. My son is a gamer...

BenQ 27 inch 1440p

Fantastic for gaming or productivity and the low blue light keeps my eyes feeling fresh. If you can pick this monitor up for under $400, it is a worthy purchase that you wont be disappointed with.

1. With this being an IPS display the colors on this monitor are amazing. 2. Absolutely zero backlight bleed or dead pixels. 3. The included stand is easy to install, sturdy, and extremely ergonomic. 4. Menu is a little daunting at first glance, but...

1. Not a big fan of the button layout, but I have seen far worse. 2. Included cables are relatively short (especially the displayport). Note: These are mere nitpicks and do not even come close to warrant an egg being dropped.

missing critical part

Not possible to get it set up yet, so i can't say

--The box did not include the bolts or screws needed to connect the stand to the monitor. No place. Searched everywhere. So I created a work-around, but it is jacked b/c the standoff of the bolt interferes with the spin of the stand. Therefore, I am...
