lukewarm

decent price, good color, i just hope i dont get any more visual anomalies with this monitor

very vibrant colors, huge screen

came with ~3 dead pixels, which i honestly dont mind much as long as the number doesnt increase. i was fiddling with the display controls via the buttons on the front of the monitor and the whole thing faded to a very white hue. i turned it off and on...

Solid 19" monitor for a solid price

I've never tested the built-in speakers as I've got nicer external ones. The phrase "The LCD Universe" which is written on the monitor also doesn't make much sense to me at all. It does what I want it to though. It's thin, bright, large, and great for...

Solid price when I got it, bright screen, crisp image, good response time (use it for gaming all the time), good viewing angle

You can see where parts of the monitor were economized on (the blinking standby LED blinks at random intervals)

good buy

for the price i think i got a great deal. I had no pizels missing, and newegg was very easy to work with, real time updates online are great. Arrived on the day it was suppossed to.

monitor looks great, WoW works well, looks great. Very bright monitor, good color with easy to use menu

takes a good video card to make the screen come alive. my dell lacked the capabilities that my new gforce has

Can also be wall mounted using the same stand.

Good picture: clean, clear, and bright. No dead pixels

Speakers sound about like what you'd get from laptop speakers but considering their size that is about what i would expect

Ok

The size of this monitor is it's biggest plus. If all you do is look at web pages etc. this will be great for you. If you play games, edit photo's or like nice things you need to keep looking.

Best bang for your buck

Only VGA connector, Stand is sub par, Image quality isn't great, Low resolution

Beautiful monitor and low price here's why

as satisfied as I get with computer hardware purchases.

It's absolutely beautiful as far as the picture goes. BRIGHT, nice color, sharp, big, very nice. Speakers are what you'd expect for built in speakers. I'm using them in addition to a 9 speaker setup so I can't notice them unless I get right next to the...

When you adjust the brightness the text on the screen says "Hight brightness" instead of "high brightness" like it should. This is a common Asian mistake and that's why this monitor is cheap. Buy it and save yourself a ton of money for the best one on...

Great Monitor

Really nice for the price. The unit itself has very solid construction and the tilting base works well. Nice bright blue light for those who like them. Ugly eye-sore of a logo at the top right of monitor, also on the back (but who looks at the back of...

I like it. Cheap price, solid quality, good picture. While it may prove to be annoying after time, I like the BRIGHT multi-color power LED on the front. It blinks red for power saving / solid red when no signal, and BRIGHT blue when on

The LCD Universe Logo at the top is a bit too much. Draws attention

Further news

I haven't received my rebate yet, though I have no reason to anticipae a problem. Had it been available when I ordered, I would have selected the DCL9D for just a couple of bucks more, digital input, and no rebate hassle.

See my earlier posts by sorting by date submitted. It still is bright, sharp, colorful, easy to read the finest text. I love it when it is working

Once again, it seemed to die. On bootup, no posting info showed, but gradually changing pixels from almost full black to white eventually. Reboots didn't help ; Unplugging the power cord momentarily seems to correct the problem, allowing something to...

Further experience

Should further events occur, with New Egg's permission I will report them. Wish me luck, as warranty is solely at the pleasure of the manufacturer.

Earlier comments about sharp, easy to read text, no dead pixels, etc. still apply. It looks great

I shut dowmn last evening, and monitor seemed dead this morning. No posting info showed on startup, but a screen with random pixels gradually going from black through various patterns, to finally all white. Connections to computer were good at both...

Highly Recommended

I haven't tried the speakers, as I assume that they are much worse than the rather good Altec Lansing with subwoofer system I'm using. But I wouldnt expect hi-fi from speakers built into any value priced monitor.

Bright, clear, very crisp at highest resolution. No dead or stuck pixels. I've noticed no ghosting, but I'm not a computer gamer or movie viewer. I use office applications, and am an avid online news reader. Even the smallest text is easily readable by...

I wish I didn't have to do the rebate hassle to get the great deal ; No digital input, but my current video card doesn't have digital output, so no big deal ; Only three brightness levels. Continuous would be better for photo viewing/editing ; Power...
