Lacks the extras, style, and standout performance we expect from an expensive 26-inch (25.5-inch viewable) wide-screen.

The monitor has one of the most awkward cable management systems I've tested. Plastic loops on the back of the stand point at different, seemingly random angles. The stand cover could barely close on the cords that I used

Though this big, bright 26-inch display costs a pretty penny, its color calibration features—as well as for managing backlight and color consistency over time—make the LCD2690WUXiSV a tool all serious color geeks should consider.

If you are looking for a monitor with accurate colour representation the NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi is right for you.

Highly accurate colour representation, tilt and lift functions, good graphics and text reproduction

Limited horizontal viewing angle, low-end contrast ratio and brightness ratings.

Sometimes a 24in widescreen just isn't big enough. NEC is on hand with the 26in MultiSync LCD2690WUXi.

While gamers will find much to enjoy on the MultiSync LCD2690WUXi the Dell 30in will offer better value. However, for those who are looking to finally replace a much trusted CRT or go properly large for professional use, the NEC is a very fine choice....
