Archos Gmini XS 100

Small and light; nice design; intuitive controls; drag-and-drop or sync music transfers; plays DRM-protected WMA and subscription-based (Janus) files; on-the-fly playlists.

AC adapter not included; no hold slider; no FM tuner; no voice or line-in recording; volume could go a little higher.

If you're looking for a small MP3 player with a stylish and ergonomic design--and you don't need a ton of storage--consider Archos's Gmini XS 100.

Archos made too many compromises to keep the price of this player down. As an entry-level player, the XS 100 isn't a total disaster, but it's definitely no iPod-mini killer.

DON'T BUY!!!

 

It's taken this many breaking for Archos to pay for shipping to get it replaced, and I actually wanted a refund. Do yourself a favor, skip this product in all it's forms.

Plays music...when not broken

I've been through 4 of these (I own the blue one.) One was even the 4GBs. The 1st, 3rd, & 4th ones hard drives quit working. The 2nd one's battery quit recharging. 2 of these died within the first several minutes of use
