It's not a bad phone, but Meizu's M3 Max just can't keep up.
Expert review by : Bailey Stein (androidauthority.com)
Although the M3 Max is shipping with polished software, great battery life, and excellent build quality, we cannot recommend it over similarly sized alternative options. The M3 Max may do well in some categories, but offers nothing exciting in...
Flyme is remarkably well polished ; Great battery life ; Nice storage options (64 GB + microSD card expansion) ; Excellent build quality ; mTouch is genius
Poor performance ; Disappointing camera ; Some Wi-Fi range issues ; Proprietary fast charging technology ; Lack of US availability

The Meizu M3 Note is one of the better smartphones Meizu has brought to India. The beautiful design, display, a fast fingerprint sensor & excellent battery.

Meizu has produced quite a few smartphones this year and the M3 is one of the most affordable ones. Learn more in our full review. Thanks to Gearbest for sending Meizu M3 for a review. Meizu M3 Review: VIDEO REVIEW Meizu M3 Review: UNBOXING In the box,...

Meizu is one of those Chinese manufacturers, which produces some great yet affordable smartphones and the M3 Note is one of their latest offerings. It is pretty cheap, it has an all-metal unibody design and some great specs. This is Linus, learn more...

I have received a Meizu M3 Note smartphone from PB Tech for review and it's fair to say it's a very impressive device - for the middle-tier price range and superb service by PB Tech (more on this later) this is an excellent choice for our market. The...
Overall a worthy smartphone for those in the market in the current price range ($300 - 350 incl GST at the time of this review).
Consumer review (newegg.com)
I don't use it for video.
Good clean sounding DAC. A little low on the volume compared to most players. FM tuner is function and recording quality is good enough ; Great file support: FLAC, OGG, WMA, MP3 ; Firmware is updated frequently (check the China site)
Buggy firmware. Graphic EQ doesn't work with certain filetypes. Interface is a bit clunky
Consumer review (newegg.com)
This is the second one I've had. The first one was one of the Chinese ones. It worked great, except that it had the buffer-skip problem that this one did. I broke that one, and it was entirely my fault. So I wanted to get another, because the price was...
8 gigs of solid state storage for much less than an Ipod ; No silly Itunes format/no stupid DRM restrictions ; It is rather durable ; It is not an Apple product! And its not a fashion symbol/mp3 player, its really just an MP3 player! I don't pay more...
Songs over about 160kbps will skip at the end. Went to the http://www.meizume.com/ forums, others have had the same problem ; It will randomly have some serious error, where the screen goes jumbled and I have to simply wait for it to run out of...
Consumer review (newegg.com)
I'm sure it's because Newegg is hipping a whole lot of stuff and the fact that it was just Christmas why it took so long, I can't wait to get this beast, it will replace my Now dead Axim X5 as the media player.
This product looks excellent from all the research I've done on it, waiting for it to get here. I will write a post arrival review when I get a chance to interact with it, I see no probles except the earbuds, which I will swap out with $20 headphones
I have been waiting since the 21st, its now the 27th and tommorow is the estimated arrival date all along, it said $5 3 buisness day shipping, slowest I have had with newegg, they are usually excellent in that department
Consumer review (newegg.com)
I would only consider using a lossless decoding player and Meizu seems to be the best of the portables as it supports FLAC anc Ogg (I use FLAC and there are lots of freeware encoders available like EAC). The sound is excellent but I had to get higher...
FLAC decoding ; Versatile file management ; Small size ; Good battery life
Screen is hard to see in bright light ; User interface takes time to get used to and is somewhat clumsy ; Can't easily replay (reverse) current track ; Should be used with high efficiency headphones
