Jens of Sweden MP-300 (256MB)

Clean sound; FM transmitter, tuner, and recorder; line-in recording; retractable USB plug; sound-enhancement options; optional in-line remote and case/armband; runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux; long battery life.

Small screen; mediocre transfer speeds; no support for online music stores; feels slightly chintzy.

Jens of Sweden's MP-300 is a top choice if you're looking for a player with a wealth of features and stellar audio quality.
