mobiBLU Cube2

The original MobiBlu Cube (also known by the less catchy moniker of DAH-1500i) was a marvel of engineering in that it packed a boatload of features into just one cubic inch. The next-generation Cube2 is physically identical to its predecessor, except...

Broad feature set. Versatile sound and playback options. Very compact. Works with Macs and PCs.

Included earbuds are odd-looking and clunky. Video conversion is buggy. Screen is extremely small and colors are poor. One-handed operation can be awkward. Short battery life.

The Cube2 is an impressive feat of engineering, but it's less practical than many other flash-based players out there because of its shape and size.

Tiny

Controls are awkward, Video screen is only 1cms wide, Sound quality a little lacking

If size is your primary concern, the Cube 2 may suit you, but if not there are better alternatives.

mobiBLU Cube2

The Cube2 is an unashamed novelty music player with a few nice surprises but a lot of frustrating design and interface issues.

A conversation starter ; Sturdy, difficult to damage ; They weren't kidding when they said it was tiny

Buttons too small ; Screen too small ; Awkward lanyard-style headphones

Having lost its biggest selling point in the wake of the much more publicised 2G Shuffle, the Cube2 struggles to be appealing. It's a cute, diverting little tech toy you can clip on a keychain and impress people with, but its many extras just don't...

The Worlds Smallest MP3 Player Upgraded- Mobiblu Cube 2

Mobiblu have updated the unfeasibly small 1" Cube MP3 player. This version 2.0 now has a full colour OLED screen, video playback and a JPEG viewer. We go all fingers and thumbs as we test it!

Don't buy this! :-(

Small, great sound, very fun and useful. Still not worth it.

Eventual firmware corruption, PC won't recognize it, cube is unusable.

The best and smallest MP3 player out there, bar none!

Great size factor, killer features, crazy-cool engineering feat!

Audio stuttering until you apply the above fix.

Don't Drop it in your Glass: Now With 50% More Mitigation

You know you're entering the Era of the iPod when people start treating the "iPod" brand name like we do with "Kleenex." If you don't want an iPod, though, there aren't a whole heck of a lot of ultraportable MP3 players that really stand apart ...

Impossibly tiny. Plays OGG Vorbis files, packed with features.

So-so battery life, tricky interface, busted firmware, cube shaped form factor isn't for everyone.
