Great radio

 

These radios are in just about all of our equipment. They are extremely reliable and work great. They work year in and out facing extreme cold and blistering heat.

great little rig!

 

This rig has been around for over 20 years! It has great receive and transmit. There are some mods online that allow you to get about 15 watts pep out of this little powerhouse. There is even a mod that you can add a MRF 1969 final and get about 20...

I am a Storm Spotter in Tennessee and I use this radio to communicate with other spotters. It has good range but sometimes poor reception.
