Functionality is good.
Build quality is flimsy.
Consumer review (currys.co.uk)
Quality of print is excellent
Slow to print, wastes so much paper with part prints, too many buttons to press for just one print, ink is mega expensive, not enought direction to explain why it doesn't work or why it's not printing properly. Doesn't do what it says on the box.

It prints
cannot close paper holder or front control panel and then use wirelessly. have to go to the printer load paper and open front control panel
Consumer review (currys.co.uk)
Great for printing and photocopying
Scanning is incomprehensible

This is my 3rd Canon printer and surprisingly the best so far. Start up is quick, printing is good and set up simple. It's a smaller size and fits well on my desk. It's also one of the cheaper home models. I've always used the same generic ink supplier...
I would have preferred a cassette drawer for the paper instead of filling from the back. It's only a small point.

All good, very efficient.

Has SD slot
Have to get all trays, and control panel out before it will print.

Looks nice
Being a rear paper feed it's useless to fit in an enclosed shelf.
