Excellent printer

This is our second Samsung and it is the best printer I have. Faster startup than the Konica I have, better document handler than the HP I got rid of. Scans 30 page documents in less than 2 minutes and is smart - if you do black/white and low...

Scanner functions only over the USB. Printing is via built-in print server and everyone prints but only one computer can scan. Works for me, but just so you know. At this price, network scanning would be unlikely anyway

Overall very good.

Got this $70 less than the current price, hold out for a good deal.

Bonjour Networking, great mac-compatability (don't install the samsung software), duplex, auto-feed. Highly configurable via webpage at the printer's IP address

Curls pages on one-sided prints or copies. Scanning dpi leaves a bit to be desired

Exactly what I was looking for

Fast, does everything, laser, solid build, good design, mac compatible

None that I have found yet

Another Great Samsung product

Setting it up will take some know how, but using it as a remote device is fairly simple. Taught my bosses (55+ years old) to do everything with it. Showed them how to scan to each of the network compters and they were blown Away. Good product overall.

Great for Printing, Copying, and Scanning in our small business office. We have a stand alone fax machine, so we don't use that function much. Should be easy for most people to set up on a network as long as you note the save location of the scanning file

No Color Printing? A product this nice should have it. Couldn't delete the default scan location on my computer, but was able to add another folder and save to that

Failed after 1-year warranty ended

This printer was very reliable until it failed after the 1-year warranted had ended. (Fortunately, I had purchased a Square Trade warranty.) If repair had been an option, however, I would have had it repaired. I really like the feature set, especially...

Inexpensive, fax-to-email, scan-to-pc, large yield tonor cartridge availabe

only last 13 months, printed paper came out hot, cancel button was ineffective, inaccurate individual sheet feeder path

Better than average

Simple to use, in all but scan mode. Would prefer if I could scan and have it automatically send it to my pc. It's not real convenient going back and forth pc to samsung for each page. Also, I want to scan a boatload of pages and photos. It seems I...

Durable, reliable

not a bright display, scan usability

Worked for about a year

SCX-4828FN worked great for a year of light use. Now it prints blank pages instead of printed pages.

Inexpensive

Poor quality

ADF REPAIRED, STILL NOT WORKING PROPERLY

My company provided me with this printer in May of 2010. The Automatic Document Feeder has already been replaced once, and has now failed again. Not worth the hassle of repairing - my company will be using it for testing and parts. My company provided...

Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

The product was good, but now!!

I've had this product for 14 months and it just started squeaking horribly loud. It is unbearable. I've even started getting a lot of errors when it prints. Not too happy about this.

Inexpensive

Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, warranty not long enough to cover product

No SSL support on email == useless

Every public server (gmail, hotmail, ISP email etc) all require SSL or TLS to connect and send email. The "email a scan" feature of this printer does not support encrypted connections, which make it useless for home users who use gmail/hotmail/isp mail...
