Linksys WMA11B

Good audio and graphics quality; easy setup; intuitive onscreen menu; includes audio and video cables.

Can’t handle video, Internet radio, or audio CDs; requires Windows XP and .Net framework; hogs host PC’s resources; incompatible with firewall; meager one-year warranty.

The Linksys Wireless-B media adapter does a good job of letting media hounds beam MP3s to their stereo or digital pictures to their TV, but it's pricey considering what it still lacks.

Works with XP SP2

I have Norton AV version 10 installed which optionally turns off the XP firewall while using its own firewall software. I did not need to complete any special exceptions in Norton to get the music going. Linksys ROCKS and so does NewEgg for great service.

Don't Bother

Linksys will tell you AFTER you buy it that it won't work with WinXP SP2. It definitely is not worth it!!!

It really Rocks!

Excellent sound quality and my wife even likes the feature of viewing our digital photos on our Plasma display. A breeze to set up and operate. Only complaint would be it's slow boot time to negotiate a connection with my Linksys WAP.
