The ; is an excellent value, packing both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at a midrange price. There are six HDMI inputs, plus a dedicated turntable input -- a rarity these days. Onboard streaming-audio support is extensive, including Pandora, Spotify, Rhapsody,...
There's no AirPlay, which competitors offer for less money. The TX-NR626's built-in Audyssey speaker calibration also delivered inconsistent results.
Onkyo's TX-NR626 is a value-packed AV receiver with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and even a turntable input, but it's just short of being our top pick.

AV receivers are supposed to have inputs and outputs for everything, but manufacturers have been surprisingly slow to meet modern needs , especially when it comes to wireless audio streaming.

The Onkyo TX-NR626 AV receiver fell on Sean Killebrew to review. Killebrew tested out the TX-NR626 and came away from the review with a refreshing sentiment. It works. It just plain works.
It's really refreshing when something just plain works, especially when you're talking about cutting-edge home theater gear. Oftentimes, the more technologically advanced a product is, the more of a pain in the ass it is to configure. This receiver...

Good but not great – and that's not quite enough at this hugely competitive price for AV receivers
Smart, solid build ; Thorough spec ; Wi-fi and Bluetooth streaming ; Easy set-up ; Precise and controlled presentation ; Effective surround steering
Hard edge to certain frequencies ; No Apple AirPlay or Made for iPod support ; Lacks a layer of detail
Expert review by : Danny Phillips (homecinemachoice.com)
Onkyo's success in the AVR market stems from its ability to hit the sweet spot between value and performance, and this 7.2-channel model looks to offer more of the same with a load of features and a nice price.
Powerful, well organised sound; extensive features; easy to use; built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
No AirPlay; hard edge to mids and highs; no Bluetooth button on remote

Good value ; Plenty of inputs ; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
No Airplay ; Inconsistent auto-calibration

Consumer review (cnet.com)
I have owned 6 Onkyo receivers over the years and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the quality has deteriorated to Chinese Walmart brand level.
Looks pretty
Garbage software
