No, No, and NO

I am flabbergasted with this poor quality product and will NEVER by Onkyo again......

Good sound for the price (when it works)

Mine went out a week before the warranty was up due to bad capacitors on the HDMI board. It was fixed under warranty and guess what..... Yep less than a year later it is starting to go out AGAIN. Same symptoms - sound periodically goes out and comes...

VERY nice unit

This unit is very easy to setup and use. The on screen setup is very helpful and the HOME menu (also displayed on screen)lets you change settings on the fly. This makes everything simple and easy to use. Hook ups were easy and very clear and the tuner...

Good system for the price.

Good selection of inputs

I got this system because it has plenty of Analog and Digital inputs. Many newer units do not have as many analog inputs for connecting older components. I neede to connect a Wii and a VCR. this works great and the sound is excellent as well. There are...

Great Receiver

This receiver was purchased along with Sony speakers. It was easy to setup and works great. The sound is fantastic. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced surround sound system

Very pleased

First a disclaimer that I am not an "audiophile", so I can only take away what my experience is with it, and I love this thing. I had very specific criteria when looking for a reciver. Surround sound, at least 3 HDMI inputs, and ~60+w per channel. I...

the 65w per channel is a little light, seems that 80/90w is a more common power output in it's price category but it's still more than loud enough to get the neighbors to call the cops, were I so inclined ; Unless I completely overlooked it (completely...

Is an "Ehhh..." product

I personally would not buy another one of these. Yeah, it's a pretty good receiver, but sometimes out of nowhere it will just stop displaying my video onto my monitor. Given, I'm using a desktop computer with this system, but I should not have to mess...

Works as advertised (somewhat) ; Remote is awesome ; 3 inputs + 1 output is great for cables boxes, game systems and computers all connected to one sound system and being displayed on a designated monitor

Only works sometimes ; Pain to get working sometimes ; Power button on remote doesn't actually do anything

Just right for my 3D setup

Wokrs just as described, Hookup was easy, HDMI Stand-by Passthrough worked flawlessly after configuration. That was a major concern that no longer exists. Hooked to Samsung 3D Blu-Ray, 3D Cable Box and a PC. No issues yet

Not a product con but I switched from 100W (older Pioneer with no HDMI) to 60W per channel but sounds fine just needs to be turned up more than older system

Very pleased with this product and this company Though installing a product like this can be daunting due to so many otions, this was quite straight forward and it works GREAT!I even called customer support for a quick installation question and they...

low end? Definitely!

My Netgear comparative unit is 3x the price only gets about 95% signal strength. The netgear claims 600mbps but I only get about 360mbps with my service.

Cheap ; Speaker setup was easy, sounded far better than my tiny television speakers

Switching between different input formats (720 console to 1080 cable TV for instance) can cause the HDMI to be unsynced and your picture to start to blink. Fairly common with the DRM involved in HDMI now though. Turn it off and back on again ; Inputs...
