Great value but didnt last

there was another reputable brand on sale that weekend and looking back i should have spent the little bit extra for it. i learned my lesson and wont be burned by onkyo again. moving forward and down a few hundred dollars.

Hdmi support for 200 bucks was the biggest selling point for me

Mine was sent back RMA

My opinion of Onkyo has been down-graded due to my experience. Onkyo support was unhelpful, and they were as shocked as I was about the situation. Newegg was not at fault.

A lot of amplifier for the $$$$

I you are looking for a simple stereo home amplifier, this is not it. If you want an entry level 5.1 home amplifier, this is it.

Great so far.

Nice 5.1 receiver for the price. Sounds great

You might want to get a more powerful receiver if you have large speakers. These are 65W per channel and I have to turn the volume up over half way to get it loud. EQ controls are lacking too
