Pioneer is the leading in the audio industry for a long time or may be since my childhood. They're the best though this product has little flaws here and there and that's acceptable due to its low price

For the money you get a lot with this receiver. It does not have HDMI but I'm not a big fan of HDMI. If you have a TV 42" or smaller than you only need 720p resolution because your eyes cannot see the difference so component cables will work great and...

Pioneer used to be my favorite brand. Back when they had the omega-tuning fork symbol. Omega for the big guy upstairs and tuning fork for high quality sound. They were a Christian company. Now their quality is not what it used to be. I had problems...

Can't go wrong with HDMI inputs and a choice of Optical or Digital Coaxial for your digital audio. Everything sounds really crisp. You can manually assign various digital audio inputs to your high def video inputs. Lots of tweaking ability.
