The Sony STRD1200ES has plenty of power and clear amplification. Great value for money. I am sure this will still be a great amp for years to come.

I found the sony s trada 1200es very stylish and with the auto calibration via the supplied microphone it was a breeze to setup,The selection of inputs are easy to understand and the hdmi in and out connectors became very usefull in minimalising my...

There are none at all for the unit itself however i would have liked a more stylish remote control , Maybe a sleek silver one with an ergonomic shape?

GREAT SOUND, GREAT QUALITY BUT NO THRILLS

It does everything I want. It probably does some things I want but don't know about and without being more intuative I probably never will.

Sound quality, depth and power are all that most should need from a surround system. Initial set-up is very easy. Programable inputs/outputs - that can be really handy.

Does not switch component to HDMI so you may not save all the cabling you hoped for. Sound settings seemto add little. I feel that there's a lot of functionality that I'm not benefitting from because I don't have the physics degree necessary to decode...

NICE POWERFUL SOUND

I like it, but wished I'd done some homework first. This model has 2 hdmi inputs, and 1 output, great, but only hdmi can be output, other models upscale from componenent, s-video and composite to HDMI out, this one doesnt, a Denon 2307, and 2807 does....

Good with music, and movies. powerful enough for most needs

complicated (to me) set up, no upscaling to HDMI output.
