Bought one about 18mo ago from Go-Lo when they had a sale $99>$79>$59. O.K. so all manuals out of China are crap but once finally connected properly it installed itself. Superb picture quality on the old big Sanyo TV even via the Akai VCR - and...
cheap and getting cheaper - reliable so far - but we're not heavy TV users
the manual was a bit "iffy" re the connections - but once past this you don't really need the manual.

I bought this model assuming it would record shows. It doesnt appear to do that so its a dud. I should have bought the Kogan.
works ok as a set top box
manual is not clear

Agree with 'rosize' above. Worked ok for a while - say 1st 6mths of so. Sometimes just stops working for second or 2 so that TV goes black and says 'No signal' then returns to picture. Often puts a panel on-screen asking to rescan for channels even...
Small, compact, simple to connect up, was cheap to buy.
Is good when all working properly - which is now NOT all of the time. I guess 'cause it was cheap.

I don't recommend. Look for somethiung of higher quality and better reliability. I am looking for another HD set-top box that will have greater capability.
Worked OK for a few months
Absolutely pathetic clarity now. Picture/sound goes in and out and lose signal totally from time to time.

Excellent HD value for money - but shop around. I got my first box for $50 locally, but you will probably have to pay freight if purchased on-line.
Simple to setup - Simple to use and suitable for those with not much exposure to technology. I'm buying a second one for my elderly mother-in law.
Nothing worth mentioning

Excellent value for money, great picture quality and simply the easiest to install. I connected the cables and it came up on the screen with instructions on what to do. Couldn't be easier.
Easiest to install. Excellent picture quality
The remote must be nearly directly in front to operate.
