Bad

Good little box but obviously has a common problem. I wish someone could find the solution. Probably would be a good idea to give Samsung a call.

Got it 2 years ago. Worked great for that time, very happy with quality and functionality.

Stopped working, no power. A friend has the same one and he had the same issue. Checked fuse and power cable and everything is alright. By chance I lean on it and it turned itself on. It lasted for a day or so. Obviously there is a some power cut...

Terrible

My Samsung STB (DTB-H550F) worked for six months, then had a major malfunction -- all the lights on the front panel started blinking (not nearly as nice as a Christmas tree) and there was no way to power it off without unplugging it. Word of mouth...

It was cheap in a factory seconds outlet store.

Difficult to use many features, lasted all of six months.

Terrible

It has lots of features, most which I will never use as the user guide is very poorly written. After hours of searching cannot find a way to reorder the TV channels. Channel 10 is on channel 5, 7 on 6 and so on. Very annoying!

provides infomation on what show is currently being screened. Good picture quality.

can not re-order channels.
