Samsung's 3-in-1 device includes technology both old and new. It has a VCR, DVD player, and a digital set top box to bring SD pictures into your living room.
Eliminates the need for three separate units. Integrated remote control simplifies usage. Dual tuners allow you to watch one program while recording another.
DVD is only for playback; not a DVD recorder. Bulky unit compared to slimline DVD players.
Samsung have successfully integrated three devices (DVD,VCR,STB) into one unit suitable for people that want to future proof their home entertainment device for when analog broadcasts cease or those who can't let go of their VCR.

A solid combination of three products - STB, DVD player, VHS tape recorder/player
Efficient in concept ; Reduces number of boxes in your setup
Completely unable to play anything other than standard conventional DVDs. Forget about CD-R etc. Careful reading of the manual gives this fact away ; Breaks down not infrequently, have needed to use an extended warranty several times (glad I bought...

I have had this unit for a few years now and I have found it to be excellent as I have young children who have videos and dvds.Videos are great as kids cant scratch them. But I would like it better if the HD signal would work with the STB as it picks up...

I have had this unit for a few years now and it is quite good, easy to use, simple and logical setup, however
Have problems with some dvd's, both ones that i have burnt and original ones i have bought. Sometimes they freeze, pixel-ise, or just refuse to work ; Also, FF and REW buttons are a bit hard to use on the remote ; Also, i recently got a brand new...

Was able to forget about the rooftop antenna and go with a rabbit ear set up. Pictures are dead perfect, no reception issues whatsoever. Plays all the DVDs I rented. I ran cables to my stereo and the sound is good - much better than what I was getting...

I red the description and asked a few questions and bought the product. It connects easily and has improved and changed my tv watching.

Surely people want a unit with recording capability not just a unit put together of what is hast becoming a scrap heap of parts, a unit like thie should I beleive be about $286+GST, The only redeeming feature is the set top box capability BUT WAIT a...
