Plays DVDs okay but the tuner is very third rate

talled a new tuner circuit board in the unit. This he claimed was a 'specially improved' tuner and would solve all my problems. It helped a little, but it's still pretty poor. Some TV stations, especially the ABC and Ch.7 stations are forever freezing...

Plays DVDs from any region without a hitch

Built in TV tuner is very sub-standard.

Bought mine in February from Harvey Norman - then found they didn't have it in stock so had to wait a month to get it! That wasn't Strong's fault I suppose, but when I did finally get it I found the tuner was so useless it couldn't even find half the...

Buyer beware

issue with it, but as a PVR/DVR/whatever, I am disappointed with it. I'd have returned it, but I wasn't quick enough to test it on arrival (it was a gift so I was being sneaky), so now I'm stuck with it.

The BR player works, at least.
