Consumer review (newegg.com)
YMMV, but I recommend seeking a better solution for rural usage. The antenna was markedly inferior to a severely tattered outdoor directional antenna. May not have been much of an improvement over traditional low-end rabbit ears - but was not compared...
Low-profile design, included amplifier, aesthetics
Poor signal even for an indoor antenna, TERK support was very rude

I ended up putting the thing OUTSIDE to get any real channel stability, but I am still looking for something better. Not satisfied
It works better than rabbit ears... I guess.
Stations are never stable, they go in and out. There is never a single adjustment that works for all channels. Constantly moving it is a pain.

The antenna is manufactured by Audiovox -- and they did not seem interested in providing any sort of compensation. Ended up RMAing it to Newegg. Consider a better antenna if you live over 15~20 miles from the broadcasting source.
HDTV compatible, amplifier, video switch, nice cabling
The unit was either DOA, or did not fancy my location. The reception produced was about on par with standard ($5<) bunny ears ; The amplifier also did not appear to respond correctly to being adjusted or powered on/off, and it was rather obvious...

Live in 2nd story condo with 50+ ft trees surrounding me (no dish avail). Local channels were 18 & 31mi away; antennaweb said NBC needing a 'red' directional. Didn't want to pay shipping twice so bought this and the Terk HDTVa. HDTVa received NBC and...
Excellent reception, strong amplifier, cheap
None noted (no problem with slip on plug)
Consumer review (newegg.com)
With 40 dBm gain on both UHF/VHF this is a pretty impressive antenna. Out performs my outdoor antenna when placed in my attic. This is a good buy!
Simple quality design, managable form-factor. Selectable gain to +40 dBm
75Ω F coaxial connector doesn't 'screw' onto the TV's female F connector... just snuggly clasps on

Superb antenna, gets a great picture
The plug isn't the best. When I first purchased this antenna, I would have to fiddle with the wire for the antenna to receive power. A bit after a month, it just wouldn't work anymore
