The newest version of Fujitsu's ScanSnap improves on the original, which was already a good choice for scanning documents and business cards in a hurry.
Both a document and business-card scanner. For documents, scans one side at 15 sheets per minute, or both sides at 30 images per minute.
No Twain or WIA driver, so you can't start a scan from most programs. Can't scan and do OCR in one step. No scan-to-fax option.

Fujitsu's ScanSnap lets you scan multipage documents and business cards in a snap.
Scans 15 sheets per minute and both sides of the page at once; automatically rotates pages to correct orientation. Doubles as a business-card reader.
No Twain or WIA driver means you can't start a scan from most programs. Limited OCR. No scan to fax option.

The Fujitsu ScanSnap fi-5110EOX2 Scanner is a sheet-fed document scanner that's small enough to fit on your desk easily and fast enough rarely to leave you waiting. It's also a business-card scanner that's faster than most, and its ADF speeds things up...

New document scanner curbs the paper chase
Compact document scanner that scans directly to PDF, easy to use, automatic doublesided scanning, comes bundled with Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard.
Expensive, limited applications.

Looking rather like Fujitsu have gutted a batch of bubblejet printers, ScanSnap brings new technology to a familiar package, and although the model number is longer than that of a Star Wars robot, this is the third iteration of this device. This latest...
Size, speed, supplied software
Quality of some types scans, configurability, only works with PC
Overall, If scanning business cards is your thing, or there are pages of typed A4 that you want to quickly convert to an electronic archive, then this could well be the answer to your prayers. If on the other hand you are after something that will...

This is phenominal little scanner.
As some of the other reviewers mentioned, it does jam occasionally, but almost always because I either forgot to remove a staple in the middle of a stack of paper, or because the paper is excessively crinkled or squished on the leading edge.
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Includes full version of Acrobat Standard 7.

Very quick scanner, easy setup.
Sometimes jams, but easily fixable.

Good scanner is you decide to be stuck on the same OS
Fujitsu will discontinue this model very soon, none of fujitsu models will support xp 64 or windows vista ; fujitsu is japanese company which market it's not looking out for american customers

Combines the best of all worlds: Fast scanning, easy correction of jams, rock-solid software.
Bought one for office, have scanned easily 10,000 pages. Got stuck using my HP scanner at home today and it's pure torture...so I bought one for the home office, too. Once you get a taste of a 4 sec scan (to jpg or pdf), you just can't hack HPs...
It does double feed occasionally, and jams, especially with wrinkled pages...but it takes literally seconds to fix (unlock scanner face, remove papers, relock, mouse click, and it allows you to either continue the scan where it jammed or restart a new...
