Apple Watch Series 10 Review: I Wasn't Expecting It to Be This Good

The Series 10 feels a lot like a slimmer Apple Watch Ultra, and that's a good thing.

Incredibly light on the wrist ; 1Hz refresh rate = ticking second hand! ; Voice isolation on calls is excellent ; Bigger screen makes readability better on the smaller size case ; Sleep apnea notifications at launch

No improvements to battery life ; No significant changes to Double Tap ; Smallest 42-mm size might still be too big for some wrists

The absence of a blood oxygen sensor is a huge ding. But the Apple Watch still does everything else, and looks hella good doing it.

Bigger, brighter display. Thinner and lighter. Faster charging. WatchOS 11 has a ton of new algorithms. New sleep apnea tracking feature is FDA-cleared and potentially life-changing for a lot of people. Best accessories. New water features. New black...

No blood oxygen sensing! Why!? No improvements on the battery life front. Focus on water sports is weird to everyone but me.

The Apple Watch Series 10 remains the best iPhone-friendly smartwatch with a more elegant, comfortable design than its predecessor, along with a new underwater depth gauge and music playback capabilities.
