Huawei Watch GT 3 review: Yet another solid smartwatch from the company

The Huawei Watch GT 3 comes in two sizes, 42mm and 46mm. Our review looks at the large of the two with the stainless steel strap, dubbed the Elite Edition.

Solid, quality design and build ; Decent functionality ; Great performance and tracking ; Works great with Android ; Customizable and downloadable watch faces ; Onboard mic and speaker for music and calls ; Durable, crisp, and clear display ; Fantastic...

Have to install Huawei AppGallery and HMS Core to get the Android app ; Limited tile customization ; Couldn't get quick replies to work consistently ; Not easily available in U.S. ; Stainless steel model is pricey

The Huawei Watch GT 3 didn’t disappoint at all. With an excellent build quality, great battery life, 100 assisted workouts, GPS, onboard music storage, and call capabilities, it’s definitely a watch that fitness enthusiasts will want to consider. Given...

Huawei Watch GT 3 review: Endurance, refined

Our Huawei Watch GT 3 review looks at the accuracy of its heart rate and fitness tracking, along with GPS and battery life.

I can confidently say the Huawei Watch GT 3 has the most accurate heart rate and GPS tracking I’ve experienced on a Huawei wearable. It’s still not quite up to the reliability of the Apple Watch but given the price differential, this is acceptable....

Huawei Watch GT 3 review

A sporty, sensor-packed smartwatch that's a great all-rounder

Crisp, bright display ; Up to 14-day battery life ; Accurate biometric sensors ; Responsive and fast

Not available in US ; Android app must be installed via Huawei AppGallery ; No contactless payments

Huawei Watch GT 3 updated review: Glimpses of perfection

Huawei's 2021 release fitness-focused smartwatch has some great tracking abilities and a stunning sleek look. So what's it missing?

Long battery life ; Great display ; Stunning watch design ; Fitness tracking capabilities are excellent

No decent third-party apps ; No contactless payments ; No Spotify/music streaming

In many ways, the GT 3 makes more sense than the premium Watch 3 range. It has a longer-lasting battery, is as good a fitness tracker - if not better - and it costs less too. If only it had decent third-party apps, contactless payments and music...

Huawei Watch GT 3 review

The Huawei Watch GT 3 boasts a stunning design, but can advanced fitness tracking make up for a lack of true smartwatch smarts?

Stunning high-end design ; Gorgeous large display ; In-depth health and fitness tracking ; Long battery life

No third-party app support ; Lacks rich notification support ; Intermittent disconnection issues

The Huawei Watch GT 3's lack of third-party apps and rich notification support means it's more of a fitness tracker in smartwatch form, but with in-depth tracking and a stunning design, it's still a worthy choice.
