Samsung Galaxy Ring review: not the smart ring I was hoping for | Digital Trends

The Samsung Galaxy Ring is one of the most important smart rings ever. But is it one you should buy? I wore it for two weeks to find out.

Incredibly light and comfortable design ; Great sleep tracking ; 4+ days of battery life ; Excellent charging case ; Doesn't have a subscription

Wildly inaccurate SpO2 levels ; Poor workout tracking accuracy ; Doesn't work with the iPhone ; Too expensive, tough competition

“The Samsung Galaxy Ring is an important smart ring with a lot of good ideas. It's just not the first one you should buy.”

Samsung Galaxy Ring Review

The Samsung Galaxy Ring is a pricey, well-designed fitness tracker for your finger that delivers helpful AI-powered health insights—so long as you use a Samsung phone.

Samsung Galaxy Ring Review: One Ring to Rule Them All

Samsung's newest fitness wearable works seamlessly with its Galaxy smartphones and Galaxy Watches.

Works seamlessly with the Galaxy Watch. Wonderful case. Lighter than the Oura ring. Full suite of health features, including cycle tracking. Can auto-detect pool swimming.

Exclusivity is its greatest gift and greatest curse. Not worth getting if you don’t have a Samsung phone. AI-enabled suggestions are BS. Doesn’t have a gyroscope or GPS.

Samsung Galaxy Ring Review: Fashionable, Refined, Pricey - SlashGear

The Samsung Galaxy Ring is one of the most expensive smart rings on the market today -- but it might very well also be the best.

Thin, Light Hardware Design ; Long Battery Life ; Stylish Charging Case ; Accurate Biometrics Tracking

Expensive ; Samsung Ecosystem Lock-in

Samsung Galaxy Ring review: A comfortable fit for everyday fitness and health

The Samsung Galaxy Ring is your ideal companion for fitness and health, and hands-down the most comfortable wearable device I've ever worn so far.

I tested the Samsung Galaxy Ring and it's smarter than my Apple Watch in one big way

Samsung's smart ring is far exceeding sales expectations, and I found a lot to like about the Galaxy Ring in my real-world tests.

Galaxy Ring: A Smart Tracker Only as Good as Its Software

The Samsung Galaxy Ring is now available for purchase, and we have tested the smart ring to thoroughly explore its features. Read our Galaxy Ring review.

Premium build quality ; No subscription required ; Up to 5-day battery life ; Convenient charging case

Not really designed with fitness tracking in mind ; Some features are locked into Samsung's ecosystem ; Pricey

After spending some time with the Galaxy Ring, I’ve decided to base my rating primarily on its integration with the Health app and the data I’ve gathered over the past few days. The takeaway? The Galaxy Ring is a solid health tracker, but only when the...

Samsung Galaxy Ring Review: The Easiest Way to Track Wellness Without Thinking About It Too Much

The only bummer of the Galaxy Ring is that you'll have to stay in the Samsung ecosystem if you want tracking that's truly robust.

Easy way to track your steps day to day ; Nearly a week of battery life ; No subscription required

Not for tracking serious work outs ; SpO2 levels are inaccurate ; Some features exclusive to Samsung devices

Samsung Galaxy Ring The Galaxy Ring is an easy way to track your steps and sleep, especially if you're already embedded in the Samsung ecosystem.

Samsung Galaxy Ring review: The most useless product in the Galaxy

Samsung's Galaxy Ring is a great way to track your health stats in theory, but surprisingly limited software features, irritating exclusive features, and a high up-front price make it hard to recommen The Galaxy Ring is a first-gen product in all but...

The Samsung Galaxy Ring is a solid first swing, but not a homerun

Samsung's 1st gen smart ring is one of the most intriguing devices I've tested in a very long time. Find out why in my Galaxy Ring review.

Lightweight, comfortable build ; Convenient case-style charger with built-in battery ; Unique integration with Galaxy watches and phones ; No subscription fee

Disappointing battery life ; Unreliable sleep and heart rate tracking ; Expensive at checkout ; Some tools locked to Samsung phones
