While it lasted

While it worked was not the fastest ssd in the universe but great performance for what we paid and that was what we hoped for. Now dead to the world in 21 days

None now after three weeks died

Lasted two weeks then started disappearing from bios and machine, then would boot every third or fourth boot, now when booting from other os says drive needs drivers and not located or not there at all in bios list intermitent. As we have three...

Came with Brad's OS installed

I was under the impression that I was buying a new SSD, yet it came with an OS installed and a user by the name of Brad. I'm disappointed in the deception and will be filing a claim for a refund.

-Cheap

-Came used with an OS already installed, nothing in the description said it was used.

Simple / Easy / Fast

The price is right and getting better. I only need 500mb for a drive and this came in at the time. No regrets - would buy again...

Just plugged in and loaded Win 10 64bit - and it worked. Way faster than my old platter drive.

None so far

480gb

i use this for my windows drive. the drive replaced a samsung and performance is pretty much the same. these ssd's are priced way better than the rest of the competition that's gouging people on price. Silicon Power aslo has pretty speedy response rate.

Quick, one of the best prices you'll find, quick install.

doesn't come with sata cable or plate for install, make sure to pick them up if you need them.

Fair middle of the road drives

The free cloning software does NOT make you more competitive. It make you more liable and prone to failure of your product. People will buy inexpensive drives weather they come with a program thats going to allow them to destroy it easily or not. Do...

They seam fine to me. I did look at these a while back and passed on them. I never keep an SSD drive longer than 3-4 months with the exception of a handful of Intel SSD in my servers and cable TV streamers. These drive should be just fine for an...

The Phison controller, i try to avoid them like the plague. Kingston, SanDisc, same thing. TLC chips are not on the top of my favorite list either but that's what the entire market is coming too.

Performs better than Advertised! Failed in 2 Months

This drive performs better than Silicon Power specifies on their own website. They also offer a warranty that is 3x longer than other SSDs that I have seen. I also have numerous Silicon Power devices and none have failed. This includes another SSD I...

Silicon Power has on their website I should see Read 540 MB/s and Write 480 MB/s. I got Read: 552.9 MB/s and Write: 509.5 MB/s Drive is slim Hasn't gotten hot Fast! Comes with a 3 year warranty instead of 1yr RMA process was no questions asked and...

No 3.5" to 2.5" adapter. (I honestly think the drive is more meant for a laptop anyway) Failed after 2 months.

Doesn't include drive cloning software

Drive works.

Newegg's product page says that you can download "NTI Echo" cloning software from the official site. This is incorrect. The license code only comes with the SSD "upgrade kit".

Perfect for a cheap raid.

I was a little worried about these SSD's at first because I am more of a Crucial and Intel man but I would diffidently suggest these to a friend.

I bought two of these on a Shell Shocker deal. I have put them in an Intel Server Board S1200BTL raided in zero. They have been going strong now for almost a month. I am able to run Hyper-V with them with no hiccups, and practice labs with no wait...

A fast drive after a troubleshooting hickup

I can't speak for longevity yet since I've only had it for about a month, but I will make sure to update this if I have any problems and as time goes on. SSD drives are rapidly growing larger in capacity, becoming cheaper, faster and more efficient....

Got this SP S55 480GB drive about a month ago and after some testing and trying different configurations I am now happy to report my results. Initially, I tested this drive externally via a USB 3.0 port and got much slower speeds than advertised –...

Some compatibility problems. See review..
