Damson Twist

 

The Damson Twist is a compact, portable Bluetooth speaker that relies, with varying results, on the surface it sits upon to project audio outward.

Very portable. Uses flat surfaces to project audio, sometimes with spectacular results.

Volume, bass levels, and audio quality can vary wildly based on surface the speaker is placed upon. If you have no flat surface nearby, you have no sound. Can distort on deep bass.

If the Twist were less expensive, I'd be more intrigued by its magic. But at $70, this is a more costly than useful trick. If you're just looking for quality Bluetooth wireless audio in a portable speaker, the slightly more expensive Panasonic SC-NT10...

A New Twist : Damson Twist

 

After the success of the Gadget Show held in Birmingham around the Easter period, a London-based version of the show took place at the end of November. One of the companies exhibiting at the show was Damson with its new Twist product.
