The Google Nest Mini is the most affordable Google Assistant smart speaker you can buy, but it offers virtually no improvements over the previous model.

Affordable. Small. Good high-frequency response.

No significant changes over Google Home Mini. Weak bass and midrange.

Google Nest Mini review: Modest improvements make Google’s smallest smart speaker even better

Expect (slightly) more bass, a mounting hole, and refined controls, all for the same price as the older Home Mini.
