If you're building a medium-priced home theater system, the PSW110 definitely deserves a look as a candidate for your subwoofer. It delivers clean bass at all volume levels at a reasonable price. It's suitable for any room size you're likely to have...

The PSW110 "offered a conservative overall sound that performed relatively well with both movies and games and excelled with musical material...It kept up with hard rock and metal and added some good bloom and warmth to large scale classical tracks and...
The PSW110 provides a good overall level of performance that excels with music material ; The PSW110 is not very sensitive to placement ; The PSW110 looks very good, offers two finishes, and offers great connectivity and controls
The PSW110 lacks immediacy, speed, and overall impact, keeping a low-key approach ; The PSW110 didn't particularly excel with home theater applications ; The PSW110 is not magnetically-shielded
The PSW110 provides an interesting, compelling and somewhat uniquevalue proposition. Rarely at this price point do you find a design thatexcels with music. While the PSW110 didn't quite deliver all the goodswith movies and games, at its price point,...

Clear, clean, loud. Really fantastic speaker
I'm about 16 months beyond warranty and the sub has a funky "buzz" at anything other than high volumes (it's drowned out at higher volumes). I ran this very hard for many years (music during the day while I work), but... he's dead now. Listening to...

I would not recommend this product. The internet is littered with people who have had the AMP go bad just after the warranty is up.
Sounded good when it worked......
Like the plethora of complaints across the internet about this SUB, the plate AMP went bad under normal use, Never cranked it or pushed it too hard, just normal use and one day it was popping and crackling. Of course it was just outside the warranty...

Sounds great, this sub is enough for my family room. I have to turn it down some because a few people in my house don't like all of the bass. I would have a bigger sub if it was up to me ;) but this one does the job
The amp died while it was under warranty. I contacted Polk and they had me remove the amp and send it to them for warranty replacement. It recently stopped working again and i am out of the warranty period now. I will have to call Polk and find out...

This is my first time using a HT receiver and sub, so my experience with a 5.1 is all new. I have the Denon E200 and I am very happy with the purchase. This sub goes perfectly with my polk Monitor 40's in the front, my Monitor 25C center, and Bose...
Great sound. Lows hit well for the price point. Once this sub is turned up properly, we are good to go. If you are using this on LFE and have a newer Denon receiver, you cannot specify your fronts as "Large" in the settings. Must be set on small.
Took me a few weeks of fiddling around here and there before I realized what all of the settings were. Took me a while, but love the sub now. I almost returned it before (I didnt actually purchase the sub from Newegg like I did the rest of my equipment).

It produces good sound, but I'm already considering upgrading. I really don't need to, but just want room shattering bass. My cave is 12x13. I'm going to try placing it in the corner and I may get more of the response I'm looking for. Definitely do NOT...
Could give a little more boom, but you get what you pay for.

Great sound looks nice and sleek

Can't beat the cost/performance of this sub (especially when it's on sale). Have it paired with a set of lower end Energy 5ch satellites with a 150hz crossover and it handles all the bass frequencies very well.
Perfect Size Power Range Looks Good

I Absolutely Love this Sub! It sounds amazing with the monitor 30's!
